Well I had a few ideas. I personally use other freeware editors for most web related tasks, and notepad when I work in C++ ...
But the things which I would most like to see in an editor are:
A built in compiler
Function trees
Templates
Buttons to add code
A project manager
Like I said, I use other editors, mainly for web related things. And what I found was that the really good ones did more than create things in an orderly way, you can actually learn a heck of a lot from them even without previously knowing the language. =)
