The Etheria Webpage has received a set of news icons, that should allow you an easier overview.
New News Icons!
Thanks to Omega, our webpage has gained a set of news icons, which should not only make it more easy for you to see what kind of news are reported, but also what groups of people will be able to view them. I thus want to introduce these new icons to you:
This icon will mark any generic news, visible to everybody - from release dates to marry happy easter wishes ;)
This icon (which already marks this news entry) will accompany all news regarding our webpage.
Whenever you see this news icon, it will mean that there are new files for you to download.
I guess Etheria will see more quests in the future. Whenever something is happening there that you should know - be it a new quest starting, important updates to an existing one, or a meeting time to be anounced - this icon will acompany any corresponding news. (These entries may not be visible to public.)
Regular player news not visible to the public. These are either news we don't want everybody to know - or news someone only a player would understand, such as new scripts being made available.
Staff news - only to be seen by staff. Such could be directives from administration, or simply anouncements on new tools and commands made available.
This icon represents a staff meeting being anounced.
News for developers - While these will mostly cover new tools and utilities for developers, you'll also see them whenever new beta-scripts are being released on the shard. As opposed to scripts released to pubilc you are free to try them, but make sure to report any bugs that you find and donot blame devs in case your char gets accidantly messed up.
This icon represents developers calling for a meeting. If you've signed up as a tester, it may be a good idea to join in here.
